Les Arcs – Paradiski Winter Sports Area
Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry
France’s Paradiski winter sports area is one of Europe’s best and most
comprehensive.
Comprised of the three resorts of Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne, the area
boasts 239 pistes measuring a total 425km, four snow parks, a halfpipe and two
glaciers.
Chalet Richermoz sits at the heart of this gigantic snow-sports playground in Peisey-
Vallandry, the central resort of the Paradiski.
Its location gives guests easy access to the superb skiing on offer in both Les Arcs and
Peisey-Vallandry.
Accommodating to beginners, challenging for intermediates and demanding for
experts, this tree-swathed expanse of slopes and back country has something for
everyone.
And if the 200km of piste fail to satisfy you then La Plagne’s equally vast ski area,
that completes the Paradiski, is just a valley away.
Tired of the piste?
Then try out Nordic skiing, take a ride in a horse-drawn sleigh ride or turn your hand
to dog sledding.
For the adventurous visitor ice climbing, snowshoeing and paragliding are also on
offer.
In the evenings you can explore the traditional Alpine village of Peisey-Nancroix.
Torch-lit guided tours lead visitors through the atmospheric streets of Peisey village –
still home to a thriving community – arranged around a beautiful Baroque church.
